Dear White Kisses Family,
As we enter this season of gratitude and giving, all of us at White Kisses Great Dane Rescue want to extend our heartfelt thanks for the kindness and compassion you’ve shown throughout the year. Your support is the reason so many Great Danes have found safety, healing, and hope.
Today, we are caring for 28 Great Danes, each with their own story, needs, and path toward a better life. Providing for them requires an extraordinary level of dedication and resources, including:

Daily, hands-on care and comfort

Nutritious meals to help them regain strength

Essential veterinary treatments, from vaccinations to critical surgeries

Behavioral training to help them heal from past trauma and prepare for their forever homes
But this year has brought new challenges. Scant resources from food donation partners and low-cost suppliers mean we are now paying for food out of our own pockets. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit rescue, we rely entirely on the generosity of people like you.

White Kisses Great Dane Rescue
OUR MISSION
White Kisses Great Dane Rescue is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming Great Danes in Texas and surrounding states. While we rescue all full-blooded Great Danes, as well as Mastiffs and Dane/Mastiff mixes, our passion and top priority is saving special needs Double Merle Great Danes, including those who are deaf, blind, or have other health challenges. We actively promote Double Merle awareness, responsible pet ownership, animal identification (microchipping and ID tags), and the importance of spaying and neutering.
Since November 22, 2014, we have been a non-profit 501(c)(3) Great Dane rescue, operating entirely on donations and the dedication of our volunteers and foster families. Every donation helps us provide veterinary care, training, housing, food, and all other needs for the Great Danes in our care. We carefully strive to place each dog in the home that best fits both the dog and the family—placements are never taken lightly.

What is a Double Merle?
Double Merles are 100% preventable!
White Great Danes result from bad breeding practices, most commonly known as spot x spot breeding. This could be harl x merle, harl x harl, merle x merle, any quin x quin, or any quin x merle breeding. When we say quin x quin, we speak of harlequins, merlequins, brindlequins, fawnequins, etc.
No White Great Dane should ever be bred! With any spot x spot breeding, there's always a 25% chance of Double Merles. Learn more about Double Merles here!
